Celtic Art

Celticart originates from Ireland. The Celticart was inspired by Ancient Celts, Irish Monks, and Scottish stone symbols. The Celtic art features Harps, Triskelions(a symbol), and Penacles(religious symbol). One must first learn these symbols before one can understand them.

The Triskelion a symbol of Celticart associated with progress and competition, is usually a design that repeats three times in a circular design. Known as the emblem on the coat of arms for "The Isle of Man" (the island located between Great Britain and Ireland). On this emblem is a continued spiral circular design of three legs bent at the knee and adjoined at the crotch.

Symbolic to the pattern of the swasticka of Germany, its means nothing bad. You may notice some Celticart as a tribal band tattoo on an arm or ankle of someone passing by. The celtic art is also known for its metal arts, and its art glass.
